I've tried copying the cd to the hard drive and I have the same problem, setup doesn't run.

I recently aquired a new computer that has windows 7 installed. Unfortunately my school web sites browser can only support Firefox OLD versions. Does anyone know where I can, if there is one, download an older firefox version that is compatible with windows 7 64 bit? Help is appreciated

I looked through the different version and only found browsers to use with VISTA

Hellp Folks,
I am new to this forum and loved the positive feedback going back and forth between the members.
I have just successfully downloaded Skype 3.8.0.188 for Win98 SE. However when I tried the voice test, it gave me the message "Problem with Playback Device" I then tested the speakers by playing a CD with Windows Media Player and 2 other media players and found the speakers to be connected and working fine. Does anyone perhaps know what I need to do for Skype to recognise my speakers? Or maybe I was too ambitious with downloading Version 3.8.0188 and should perhaps scale down to Version 2.5??
Many Thanks
Selecta:)

Greetings
I have Musicmatch 7.1 that has worked very well until I reformatted. Now it will not reinstall. Freezes. I believe it has to do with service pack 3 and windows updates. What I used this a lot for was being able to record from an external device - Record player / tape player. I loaded a newer version from the internet but do not see a record button even though under the options and recorder tab there is a selection for Mic or line in.
Any Idea how to record from en external device?
I am running XP on the PC.

Thanks
Randy

Hello OldApps Community,
I'm new to the forum, but I am glad I found this web site! I recently installed Firefox 1.0.7 in hopes of bringing back some features I was losing with my Netscape browser. Firefox is such a good browser...fast, easy to use and web sites I stopped visiting I can now view "normally."

However after I downloaded Firefox...which went well I shut down my computer (an iMac running OSX 10.1.5 yes I know it's old!) and started it up again, all I had was a greyed out question mark on my Dock. What do I need to do to have Firefox stay on the Dock regardless of shutting down or restarting the computer?

Firefox seemed to slide on top of my Netscape browser....

Thanks,
