    Default Openoffice 2.0.4 - wrong MD5 checksum

Open Office 2.0.4 that you have for download has wrong MD5 checksum, meaning that it is corrupt or has been tampered with.

The correct official checksum is found at OpenOffice website:
    http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.4/md5sums.html

    and should be:
    f92e2065080801a4066779a9f82df095 OOo_2.0.4_Win32Intel_install.exe

This is not the MD5 sum generated by your file. For safety sake, please delete your corrupt file.

Tried downloading again on a different PC, and this is definitely a problem. I got the same MD5 both times, and as said, the MD5 is incorrect.

I was able to verify versions 2.0.2, 2.0.3, and 2.1.0 with their correct MD5 checksums at Openoffice.org.

Please ask the site admin to remove this OO 2.0.4 file.

It was bundled with JRE thats why the checksum was off. The download page is now updated.

Thank you for bringing this up.

Sorry, but you are completely wrong. First of all, your comment appears to be made towards version 2.4.0, ~NOT~ 2.0.4.

Second, you will NOT find the MD5 generated by your 2.0.4 file ANYWHERE on the official OpenOffice 2.0.4 MD5 sums page.

Your 2.0.4 file is corrupt. Please do the right thing and Delete it. There are plenty of other versions that you offer that are not corrupt.

Yes you are right. I will delete the 2.0.4 and get the new file asap.

The file 2.0.4 is now replaced with the correct file. I have also check the md5sum and it does match to f92e2065080801a4066779a9f82df095
