But I do believe it is one step closer to the solution. I was looking in the C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder for a different file and came across a file named “Macromed” and on a whim I looked inside. It contained a file named “Flash” and inside this file I found one called simply “install”. When I browsed this file I found a series of commands that, I’m certain, directly relates to the aborting of the Flash setup. An excerpt from a few lines prior to the message that shows up in the window is as follows;

I am now trying to find away to get into the installer for the program and see if Adobe has included an allowance to prevent the window from opening. If I discover anything new I will add to this thread.
If the reader of these words understands the programing or has any thoughts or ideas I am open to all suggestions.

Thank you, and have a great day.

Hi Musca,

My apology for a very long and late reply regarding this matter. As I've done researching, this site captured my eyes to read how to Troubleshoot Flash Player Installation for Windows which is related to your concern.

As stated on this site " http://kb2.adobe.com"

If you are having problems downloading or installing Flash Player on a Windows computer, follow these troubleshooting steps:

  • Determine if you are using a 32-bit version of Internet Explorer on a 64-bit version of Windows.
  • Determine the Flash Player version you installed, if any.
  • Uninstall previous versions of Flash Player.
  • Verify Internet Explorer Settings (skip for other browsers such as Firefox or Google Chrome).
  • Download and install Adobe Flash Player.
