Concerns
Hi there,
This archive of older versions seems like a pretty good idea.
But, how do we know that the apps haven't been altered with Malware/Spyware???
I'm not saying that the admin of this site is hacking the files...
But, if you are collecting the older apps from the various P2P networks and then posting them here, there is a possibility that they have been compromised...

Hey there,
I am admin of OldApps.com. To assure you the best service and products, we stand on some principles.
First of all, we have never used any p2p program to download any old versions. They are original Old Versions. Since 1998, I have been actively collecting many of the old versions on my computer. Later on in 2000, I organized my collection which now has more than 1500 old versions and each day it is getting larger.
After knowing the usefulness of our site, often software providers themselves provide us their old versions.
Finally, we run each and every file with more than five anti-virus checks. That includes following popular anti-virus software.
- Norton Anti-virus
- McAfee
- Spybot Search and Destroy
- Ad-aware Pro
And as I am writing this reply from my laptop, I have an anti-virus software scanning all of the old files on my desktop.
Also we have anti virus software installed on our server so there is no way our visitors will end up getting any software that has Malware/Spyware or any other kind of annoying stuff.

Thanks very much for taking the time to explain everything!
Just to clarify on the virus scanning.
Which MacOS X anti-virus scanner are you using for on the MacOS X apps?

Along with three PCs, we also have two Mac OS X and Mac PC OS 7 running. On those computers we try to run the application before putting it online.
On mac software we run Norton and Mcafee anti-viruses.
