    Default Ares problem

It seems that whenever I run Ares (1.9.1 and 2.0.4) I lose access to internet explorer and other internet-based programs. When I attempt to repair the connection, it spends a very long time "searching for an IP address". The internet connection can only be fixed after closing Ares and waiting a few minutes.

Try using limewire and let me know if the same problem exists.

Limewire's holding the connection steady. The odd thing is, I've never had this problem with Ares in the past. It only began recently a couple weeks into owning a new coputer.

Have you tried uninstalling Ares completely and reinstalling it? That might help you out.

I use this now (Ares Gold) and it runs fine for me. I have more of what I want and less of what I don't. It is based around the latest P2P software too. So in my opinion much better than the old version.
