Default Hi to all of you! - 09-10-2009

Hi to all of you!

My name is Hetja and I've just joined as a member of this "gem" of a site.

Like The Doctor, see Intro below, I also feel I'm getting the best of both worlds, especially as I've now found Old Apps.

How did I find this 'gem' of a site?

By googling "the fastest most stable web browser".

My OS is MS Vista which can frequently be the proverbial nightmare, I don't think stability is in its remit. How I miss Windows 98 SE.

The same with Firefox...sigh...I remember why I liked Firefox in the beginning---before it became bogged down with "add-ons and plug-ins and fix-ups and stick-ups and plug-ups and stick-ons
and stick-ins and add-ups. and get-ups and get downs......"

It IS stable, but is a real memory hog.

Guys and Girls, I'd like feedback on this question please.

How many of the Old Apps are compatible with Vista?

I can possibly run IE8 with its compatability function.

All help, pointers in the right direction, is greatly appreciated.

I'll hopefully be posting more questions, giving feedback (and thanks) over time, so you may find me in other forum areas.

BTW...the fastest most stable web browser (even using Old Apps) is?

Thanks in advance,

Hetja

Hello Hetja. Welcome to old apps. If you have concerns and questions feel free to post it here and we will do our very best to answer your problems.

BTW the fastest most stable web browser (even using old apps) is MOZILLA FIREFOX.

Aside from being user friendly, that is.

Welcome to the forum!

I think the fastest browser is Chrome and most stable and most customizable browser is FIrefox.
