    Hello,

I'm Jamie. I live in Northern Virginia. I'm a housewife, a retired school librarian, and I watch my 2 yr. old granddaughter.

I got a new computer last week. I installed the newest version of AIM and I hate it. It doesn't seem to have a way to save logs of chats. And I can't separate the windows so that I can see more than one chat I'm in at a time. I want an older version of AIM but I don't know which one to download.

I heard that some of the 5.5 or 5.9s were good versions, but I have Windows 7 and I am concerned that they won't work on my computer.

Has anyone else used one of the older versions of AIM with Windows 7?

    Jamie

    Hi Jamie,

Welcome to OldApps. As far as I know AIM older versions should work fine with Windows 7. If it does not work. Try installing it in compatibility mode.

Welcome to old apps, Jamie. I have researched regarding your problem, some versions cannot be installed and some can be. And versions 5.5 or 5.9s is windows 7 compatible. Thank you and have a great day.
