I'm a new user to this site and it's functions/capabilities but I hope to be up to speed very quickly as I have several issues/actions in the Microsoft OS arena as well as issues with some hardware/software suppliers and their respective operations under the Microsoft OS's..

I'm a longtime IT support person with some 20+ years of skills/experiences in system management, application development, wired/wireless networking design/support, hardware install/support for largescale mainframe, midsize app/data servers and desktop/laptop end-user hardwares. I've worked for Fortune 100 companies for 20+ years in aerospace/defense related companies. Business applications such as MRP/ERP in support of manufacturing processes, Quality Control and Assurance, Manufacturing Engineers, SPC/TAKT/Flowtime support for process improvements, MIS/DW/Data Mining for support of process trends/analysis and web application development/ web-enabling of legacy applications, E-Business/Shopping Cart are some of the skill/experience areas I've gained in those job support positions.

In the last 4-5 years I've spent all my time in the desktop/laptop arenas supporting all facets of hardware/software/networking for single users and/or small business.

Application development for medical based business, security/web applications for home users as some of the current projects i'm supporting utilizing Microsoft XP/Vista OS's, CISCO networking hardwares/softwares/security products.

I'm anxious to get started in posting threads on the support issues I'm seeing and getting what I expect will be a wealth of tech support from this community of users. I hope to provide some level of support to users in areas of my background if a need arises.
