Hi other chatty people, have just found this site, while desperating trying to log onto Skype! I'm an older long time computer user, but this has got me beat!! My PC running XP in my study, operates Skype no problem, but travel (often!) with Windows 7 on my netbook, which decided a couple of months back it didn't like Skype anymore & refused to open up when I tried signing on!!

Everything else is working & this site was suggested to me, as Skype has "issues" with Windows Vista, which can be helped by using an older version of Skype. Am now working my way back from the latest, but so far no luck.

Anyone else had this problem & any suggestions as to which version of Skype will work best with Skype from Windows 7?

However I found a number of other things which I think will be useful on here, so I feel this can be a very useful tool to defeat the upgraders, who seem to make everything more complicated to do the same thing, every time they upgrade a system or programme!!
