UZZAP problem

My girlfriend is in the Philippines n using Uzzap n Smart communications.

Every message i send from my laptop to her cellphone...as we chat...she gets twice.
Why is that and can anybody recommend a solution to this annoying problem please?

Mostly this kind of problem are dominant in our country, send and receive a text messages like two or more. The problems is even the Cell site company cannot tell us what is the problem but they say the system can send only one (1) text messages.
I noticed like this that we are using SIM Card, this card have it's own number. This is what I noticed, I have a friend which his SIM Card accidentally drop by somewhere else then used it again. He notice that he can receive files Five(5) times, imagine!
We inquire on it and the Cell Site company told us that only One (1) messages he receive.
Maybe I think that his SIM Card is broken.
We'll my conclusion is try to create a new account using that program and send some text messages to your girlfriend in the Philippines, we'll see it will works.
