I just went to check the date for the browser 'Opera 2.0' and the release date was listed as 1996 but for the OS you listed Windows 98, XP, and Vista as well as 64bit versions of XP and Vista. I'm not sure but I don't think XP and Vista were even around back in 1996. I also downloaded MSIE 5.0, which was listed for Windows 3.11/Windows 95 but when I tried to install it on my WFWG machine, I got the message that it was for Windows 95 only (yes I have MS 32s app loaded for WFWG). Please, can someone do a little QC on these files.

That is interesting.

According to Opera, version 2.0 was released on April 22, 1996.

Internet Explore 5.0 was released in March 1999.

And Windows XP was first released on August 24, 2001.
