I just downloaded safari update 3.1.1 and when I restarted computer it crashed. Now I can't even get on internet. How do I get disc to download Safari and updates? Thanks all help appreciated.

The Safari app would be in applications. Remove that first.

Then

Check ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist
and ~/Library/Safari/

Remove them both. Then download the newest version of Safari from Apple.

Also, have you ever tried a browser called Camino? Give that a try its pretty good
