Default skype for OS10 - 11-23-2008

When I download skype for an early version of OS10, all I get is the screen full of what looks like code, not a package to install. I've tried both current verions and earlier versions with the same result.
Any suggestions?

That is because you are opening the file instead of downloading it. What browser are you using to download and what Skype version are you downloading that causes such problems.

I downloaded the last skype version for mac os x. I didn't checked that it works only with ppc g4 (and my old but good ibook have g3). I'm trying to find the older version to download. When I do it by oldapps.com only appears -----------------------------------------------------------

Maybe the file became corrupted or contaminated by some sort of bug or it can also be that some programs are trying to block you from using skype.

Use a download manager for a much safer and complete download of files you wanted.
