Uninstalling of MSN Messenger might pull some other files and also delete it so all you need to do is delete the folder containing the MSN Messenger. Let me know if this work?
Deleting File - deletes your files from computer(registry is not clear so you will face problems when you install new software).
Uninstalling - deletes your files from computer and removes the registry entries.

this is the main difference between deleting file and unistalling file !!.

What i mean is, delete the folder including it's content. In this way, it is 100% deleted. While in uninstalling some files from other programs has a higher chance of getting deleted without you noticing it. I have encountered this kind of error in deleting and uninstalling many times. I have this program called MP4 audio converter, when i tried to uninstall it some files from my MS office got deleted also but when i tried to delete it it works and the files from my MS office is not deleted. This is some sort of virus or bug in most operating system i think.
We help not because we need to but we help because we want to.........there's a big difference between "need" and "want"
