i keep trying to download the vlc player but cant it either says it has timed out or wont finish the download rate just drops off. i have vista now, but it worked great with my old comp that had xp pro? any ideas?

Yes i would say that use a download manager. Can you please let me know what's your connections speed and what country are you downloading it from?

Also what version are you trying to download?

There are some application in vista that cannot support the vlc even if you re just downloading it. Try to use a download manager or a torrent to download it, maybe it will help.

right click on download click.
and select "save link as" ( from firefox browser)

If you don't use download manager, maybe you will keep on encountering errors like this.

Hi you want to know how to install VLC Player first you have to go google.com
and type VLC Download then enter click on download vlc and go through that steps it will easily install

use a DLM so you can resume broken downloads. it can also help up speeding your download. hope this helps.
