I also experienced this and all i did was reinstall the sync your using. This should do the trick.
Greetings,
I purchased a non-iPod MP3/MP4 device (Meizu MiniPlayer M6 SL). It's a slick little device and works fairly well for my needs. I haven't used the device in close to a year and pulled it out to begin using it again and I ran into problems syncing up my iTunes playlists through SyncTunes.
I contacted the MeizuMe user's forum and was informed that probably what happened is that my iTunes upgrades to the latest version have made using SyncTunes impossible. And since SyncTunes (a pretty useful little application) is no longer supported, I was recommended to revert to an older version of iTunes, which I tried with no success.
Here's my set up: I'm running an iBook G4 with OS X 10.4.11 and iTunes 8.1.1. Since my iBook HDD is not that big, I have my iTunes library located on a separate and larger HDD via Firewire 400. This system has worked pretty well for my needs--other than this present problem.
In reading through some of the threads on this site I decided to create a new profile on my iBook and use iTunes 7.5. I figured that iTunes 7.5 was in use while SyncTunes was still available a year or so ago. When I went to access my iTunes library using version 7.5 I got some kind of error telling me that the songs in my library couldn't be accessed because they were made with a newer verison of iTunes. Thus I was back at sqare one.
The reason why I am eager to use SyncTunes is that it allows me to upload playlists already created in iTunes. In addition the uploads also include the ID3 Tag information that goes with each song. Presently I am having to drag and drop each song onto the MiniPlayer and create folders to substitute for playlists. And no ID3 Tag info is transferred. Thus I am having to reinvent the wheel which is both painstaking and very time consuming.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Respectfully,
Cpt. Buff

Thanks for responding RioPatrick. I sort of solved the problem by resorting to an earlier version of iTunes. Presently I am using iTunes 7.5 and SyncTunes is working.
I did try reloading SyncTunes several times, but couldn't get it to operate properly. Thus I resorted to using an older version of iTunes. And since SyncTunes is no longer supported I figure I'll stay with this setup until I upgrade or my MP3/MP4 player to something a bit more modern. I still cringe at the price of iPods as well as the proprietary (exclusive) relationship they have with iTunes.
If you're presently using SyncTunes, I'm curious what version if iTunes you are successfully using?
Thanks,

Good to hear that your problem is now solved. Thank you and enjoy your stay.
