Windows 98-Facebook-poo-poo, what browser now?

Well...figured as much...I have an old computer with windows 98, cause Im poor and it has to help my daughter complete online college for now...BUT, facebook is fun and has worked just fine up until yesterday Jan.15th, 2010. They have suggested browsers like Chrome (which some say can work) but now has a "you cant use this tag",or a IE later version ,,,we have 6. Opera which seemed right crappy! Safari which I think is for Mac...and one other, which I think I tried all of them. Is there an old version of anything you know of out there, that may work to access facebook properly for a while? Our version of IE lets us in to see stuff, but we cant answer back to anything anymore....
I was wondering about Mozilla? My daughter has an older version of that, but it was not great either.....maybe a later one, but which one?

Consider that your using Opera Browser, it doesn't mean that it will last for long.. Since that time you are using Windows 98, old Operating System are very delicate to find out such problems like add-ons, plugins (java, flashplayer, etc..) for your browser. Right now, for the sake that you are using it for Facebook website, it's doens't main that the Browser Opera not needed for updates on it's own. I proposed that your upgrade your operating system into new version of Windows.
Advice: Upgrade your Personal Computer, i'm sure your daughter will satisfied.
