What could I have done, to deserve this ?

Hi,
you are my imac`s last hope. I will try to make this brief First I have a mac OS X 10.2.8 with 9.2 classic and this morning my Quick player and all other devices like it did not work / then I have no permissions to open my applications / then slowly I`m noticing 9.2 is taking over / then I find the problem, I do not know how it happened or when/whatever, but somehow File maker 4.1 got installed on my imac, now I have been studying this file maker crap all day/night trying to find/get an honest answer or a uninstaller that exist ? if you can give me an answer, download or anything practical, it will stop me taking this mac to the nearest computer recycling yard. and No worries if you do not, I still love the site and OldApps.

There are a lot of programs on MAC that to remove such application you have. Click this link: Uninstaller for MAC this will help you to remove that application on your MAC OS.

What did you install that caused this? Installing QuickTime would certainly not do this. If it did, in order to remove an application in Mac all you need to do is "Move" it from the "Application" folder to the "Trash" and that will take care of it.

It sounds so simple, and probably is, but basically 9.2 has taken over, I think the partition if has been deleted, if that`s possible ? if I try to open any applications, I get No permissions. it`s making me stupid.........errrrrrrrrr !

To say that your applications on Mac 10 cannot run for now because your Mac system is 9.2 classic.
I think that the Filemaker descruct your system and run only for Mac 9.2 version.

I would be happy to use 9.2, but it will not give me access to the startup disk, so basically I cannot use Classic ? , I am surprised it is connecting online ? I will just keep reading and trying.
