    Default full version PowerDVD 3.0

I have fought this problem of trying to play a DVD on an older Dell Latitude computer for actually - years. I'm not smart enough to know how to do it but the trial version from OldApps for the PowerDVD 3.0 works great. The audio just stopped after about three and a half minutes. That may be a restriction of the free download trial. So how do I now get the full version? I will be more than happy to make a contribution to this website. I just spent $150 to max the memory on this old dog 400mz laptop with WIN2000 professioinal so what's a few more bucks for software that works. Any assistance in locating the full version will be greatly appreciated.

Hey slparks. Welcome to the forum.

I doubt that you will actually be able to buy the program. But I'll look around and get back to you.

Meanwhile try downloading and installing VLC Player http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html

Its open source you should be able to do get it to work with DVDs.

Thank you for yuor prompt reply.
I downloaded and installed VLC Player http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html

It was a little jerky in spots while playing a DVD but that may be more of a tweaking and configuration sittings issue I'll have to try and figure out. Nevertheless I did make a donation of $15.00 to the forum and I really appreciate the help. I hope this is acceptable as a usual and customary amount. I'll keep looking for a PowerDVD version 3 or maybe 4 but if you run across a copy, please remember me. Thanks.
