patch to avoid upgrade of msn messenger?

I heard there was a patch to avoid upgrading your msn messenger but I cant seem to find it anywhere. I run windows ME and it wont let me run the newer versions of msn messenger. But I cant run the older versions either because it wont let me. It keeps telling me to upgrade. Can anyone help me? I miss my msn messenger. *sigh*

thanks but the links to the programs on that page say not archived. On the main page I just dont know what Im looking for. Im really computer illerate. lol thanks for trying though.
