Internet download manager is a kind of application wherein it help you download large files like movies, music and files. What is the importance of having a old internet download manager than recent??? MANY.

2) Older Version can support large files with ease and it sees to it it will be done on no time unlike new version which applies more than 1 person downloading a single files which take time.
3) Off course both of them are helpful in keeping your downloads. You can pause it and continue it later if you want.
