Lightbulb VLC player for windows 98

VCL player is a kind of mutimedia player playing both audio and video files. Some codecs are not available in windows media player but here (VCL) most codecs are available making it better than windows media player.

Don't be confused if you think you OS even if it is windows 98 cannot support VCL player. It can... Trust me. Why?

1) There are versions of VCL that exists even in the 1990's. This can downloaded and installed in older operating systems.

2) You dont have to worry about the codecs, even if it older version it is more stable and less prone to viruses which i don't know why these days application is more prone to virus attack.

3) Off course, even though the graphics and output are lesser clear than recent version, it is not the VCL making the graphics imperfect, it is the older versions of video card. Do not be expect a clear output in VCL if you have a graphics card of 6mb.

4) Older versions of VCL is less complicated than today. Skins, options and outputs are simple in older versions unlike today.

5)Older version offers limited options while today offers a lot of option in which you can choose for best quality viewing.

If you have trouble in your VCL player kindly post it in here and i will get back to you as soon as i can.

Yes, you can download any OS version from their official Web site.

However, it may be best for Linux users to install the player from their distribution's official repositories, as there may be codecs and other support library files needed to play certain media file types. These additional support files can be downloaded and installed at the same time.
