Sounds abnormal isn't it. Making you computer fast but you don't have to download anything??How??
Speed of a computer doesn't depend on files and programs installed but on the clock speed, memory and CPU itself.
When is say it doesn't depend on the files and programs installed, i mean that files and programs installed to boost your computer speed doesn't have to do anything. Here are some more like tips or guidelines.
1)When you think or you feel your PC is starting to slow down check for programs open. Remember that the more programs open the more you PC gets slower. Imagine 25 programs running under a clock speed or 500mhz and 16mb RAM. It is like a bike carrying 4 over sized human. (excuse for the word)
2)Compress files. This will not only save up disk space but also allows your compute to speed up a little bit. Even humans cannot move well in a messy room, right? So what they need to do is to clean it up so they can move freely.
3)Disk clean up. Removing unwanted files or old files. Sometimes these old files are the cause of slowing your PC down. So here's another example. From one corner of your clean room that has full of useless things, try to run to another corner, hard isn't it? By removing these useless things you can run from end to end in no time.
4)Device Manager. This is where open or running programs are seen. You can open it and close some files that you don't need but be careful, one wrong close of application can cause your PC to shutdown.![]()
