I have met many people with similar problems regarding installation of either programs or games. They always ask me how to install a game from a CD if they cannot install it. Actually, what they want to know is if there is another option to install that application. Well here is what i want to share.


1. If you cannot install the game, try to run a compatibility check. Maybe your computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements of the application you're trying to install.

2. Check you hard disk free space. Maybe you're trying to install a large application in a small space your hard disk has.

3. Maybe the CD is corrupted or there is a corrupted file in the CD. Try asking the manufacturer.

4. If nothing on the steps or tips above worked try doing this:
Copy the whole content of the CD in your hard disk, after that try to install the game using the files you copied and not the CD. This last tip will eventually work because once a corrupted file is transfered in your disk drive it has a higher chance of getting cured or fixed.
