    Thumbs up Having trouble installing?????

To all those who encounter error while upgrading or downgrading kindly read the following first before proceeding to asking anyone.

    1. Uninstalling and removing is different. UNINSTALLING is deleting the program and just the program itself (some files and folders remain after you uninstall the program)while REMOVING is deleting the whole application and the folder and everything.

    2. Once you learn which style you're going to use (removing or uninstalling) proceed to the next step which is installing (if you have a CD or downloading if you don't have a CD)

    3. In installing using a CD read the following:
    1. First, check if your computer meets the minimum requirements of the program you're about to install. These are the RAM, VIDEO CARD, CPU speed and OS VERSION.
    2. Install the program.
    3. If you met an error (any error), read it carefully and try to find what's the cause by looking at the error itself.
    4. If the error persist, copy the whole file from your CD to your HARD DISK. In this way, you can tell whether the files from the CD is corrupted or your CD-ROM cannot read the content of your CD clearly. <----This always happens to me.
    5. If you still cannot copy the file from your CD to your computer, remove the CD from the CD-ROM and wash it with water and dry it with clean cloth or a cotton ball. Be sure to check it and make it 100% dry before inserting it again in the CD-ROM. Repeat step 4.
    4. If you are downloading the file, be sure to download it properly. Check you net speed and connection. A sudden halt from your internet and your file will become corrupted or incomplete. Usually when the net suspends a download, your computer will mark it as finished but it isn't. Follow these steps on how to download properly.

    1. Download the file from a trusted site. Downloadable files are the primary carriers of virus. You can download a download manager here at http://www.oldapps.com/Download_Accelerator.php
    2. Download it using download manager so you can pause it and continue it whenever you feel like doing so. In this way you will feel safe from sudden suspension of net. Download manager usually automatically pauses when it sense a net connection problem.
    3. After downloading the file, run an anti virus to check it for possible virus.
    4. Install.

****If none of these steps work, then you can now ask us, your fellow member for an assistance.

Thank you and Have a Great Day.
    God Speed.

We help not because we need to but we help because we want to.........there's a big difference between "need" and "want"
