When we buy a computer, it comes in set, keyboards, CPU, monitor, power cords and everything but when a person wants to buy it one at a time, the problem sets in. Here's how to install your hardware with ease.

1. You must know where and when to put the hardware. For instance hardware like external Hard drive can be connected even when the computer is on while a memory or an internal device cannot be connected unless you turn your computer off.
2. Even if your computer has a power supply or voltage regulator, the level of electricity passing each wire is deadly.
3. Once connected see to it that the hardware is properly connected to its port or slot. Turn your computer on (for internal hardware)
4. On standby mode a hardware detector will pop a message at the lower right corner of your screen. This is how your computer ask for the driver of the hardware you installed.
5. Insert the CD if you have or download the driver is you haven't.
6. When the installation is done, the computer will ask you to restart your computer. Just do what the computer asks you to do.
7. Finished. The installation of your hardware is done.

ERRORS

If you met an error like "cannot detect hardware". Go to control panel and click add hardware and follow the instructions there.
