Wink Proper shutting down of your computer

Computer has to be shutdown properly or else it can be corrupted and/or can loose some important files. It will delete a file at random in which you cannot retrieve anymore.
Shutting down a computer is not like turning your ceiling fan or shutting your cell phones down. How do we shut down our computer properly, here's how:

    1. You need to close all windows first, if you are shutting it down manually. But if you have installed a programs that requires a system restart or requires an automatic system restart then ignore closing the windows because the system will do it for you.

    2. When done closing all windows, the next thing you have to do is to close all running applications. If your using windows based computer you will find a small light blue bar at the lower right corner of your screen. There are application icons that will help you point which application is still running. YOu hae to close it also. I don't know how to determine running applications in other operating systems such as MAC and LINUX.

    3. Then if you know how to shut down the computer, this is the time to do it. Start---shutdown---a window will appear asking you if you want to shut it down, restart or put it on stand by mode. Choose shutdown and click.

****In this way, you can be 100% sure that none of your files will be randomly deleted and/or your system to crash.
We help not because we need to but we help because we want to.........there's a big difference between "need" and "want"

I totally agree with all your tips here. This is very helpful, Shutting down or turning off the computer with windows, files or any programs still open are the number one mistake users do and is also the reason why their system crashes.
