Two main Windows Vista Problems

Lightbulb Two main Windows Vista Problems

There are lots of problems with using Vista but I think and I know that most of you will agree that program compatibility and driver problems are the two main headaches of users with vista.

Application Compatibility issues

Lots of old programs do not work on Windows Vista. That’s because many software developers created applications that function only if the user has full administrative privileges. With the introduction of User Access Control or UAC and other system changes, lots of old applications have problems. Up to now lots of other applications have problems. Most of these problems are encountered with applications that install legacy drivers in order to function. Other applications just refuse to install even though they could work on Windows Vista. This problem is due to the poor design of their installer. For example, some applications ask for the installation of Microsoft.NET Framework version 1.1 or 2.0. They won’t install even though Windows Vista has a newer version of .NET Framework.

Problems on Drivers

This has been a big issue since Microsoft launch it’s latest operating system Windows Vista. Many old and new components no drivers for Windows Vista or, even if they had, their quality was very poor.

Well for me having a bad driver is just the same as not having a driver.

I just hope that not only Microsoft but also both computer hardware and software manufacturers will fix their issues as soon as possible and somehow learn from their mistakes because it is us their customers that are highly affected by these problems.

Only two problems? You're forgetting viruses, malware, spyware and other security issues.

Am...what slavezero wanted to say is windows vista has only two problems on its own.......just on the system itself......viruses,malware, spyware and other security issues are problems of all computers and operating systems so she cannot include this to be more fair to vista and also to other operating systems.
