I switched over to Open DNS and have to admit that is a bit faster than using local ISP DNS services.
Open DNS is a free service that allows you to access a customizable Domain Name Server. They offer multiple levels of security and filtering options when you sign up for a free account.
It's a very simple set up process and usually involves nothing more than changing a few numbers in your network settings.
It's safer, faster and free. And if you don't like it, all you need to do is change a few numbers back again.

I have recently tried this and also agree with slavezero have said. First, i was unsure of using it until i've tried it. I recommend others to use this also. Thank you slavezero.
