I have tried it. The advantage of using it is that it enable you to filter websites that is accessible to your house. This works well if you have kids and want to protect them from searches of violent or porn sites.
I switched over to Open DNS and have to admit that is a bit faster than using local ISP DNS services.
Open DNS is a free service that allows you to access a customizable Domain Name Server. They offer multiple levels of security and filtering options when you sign up for a free account.
It's a very simple set up process and usually involves nothing more than changing a few numbers in your network settings.
It's safer, faster and free. And if you don't like it, all you need to do is change a few numbers back again.
Thumbs up!

I have recently tried this and also agree with slavezero have said. First, i was unsure of using it until i've tried it. I recommend others to use this also. Thank you slavezero.
We help not because we need to but we help because we want to.........there's a big difference between "need" and "want"
