Default Text part of Posts is no more than 12 characters wide.

    Greets,
Problem: On my win7 with Chrome browser:
Whenever I view a Post, the display format is quite wierd, hard to read:
The text part of the Posts is no more than 12 characters wide.
The 'who posted' it is much larger than the text part.
Is there an option somewhere I can specify a wider text area?
    Thanks...vmars316

    Good day Again.

I cannot imagine clearly what you have just said, so I'm afraid i have to ask for a screenshot of the problem your experiencing so i can come up with the best solution.

    Good day

Yes, thank you for the screenshot and now i have a solution for this. Click on the blank part of you screen. Any part just be sure it's blank. Then if you have a wheel in your mouse which can be seen between the right and the left click, while pressing ctrl on your keyboard roll the wheel in you mouse downwards. This will set the screen into much smaller than the one you saw.

Thank you and have a great day.

Kindly update this post if it solves your problem.

    God Speed.

Oh sorry vmars. Now for touch pad such as yours you can do the following.

    1. Press CTRL + "+" or "-" sign found in your keyboard.
    2. If you think that the image is still big enough then continue pressing minus sign while holding on the ctrl button.

Hope this one helped you solve your problem.

Anyways, update us if this one works.

Thank you and have a great day.

    roipatrick,

Yes, if i cntrl_- a few times, line length gets smaller and smaller.
(more letters per line), but less and less readable to me.
Us senior citizens need larger print.
Its strange though, I keep the font large on all sites
but only this one reacts that way.

Maybe, take a look at (any other site i think)
try this one WebPlus - Serif Software Forums
And keep clicking CNTRL_+ until it can't be clicked any more.
You'll see that the 'HorizontalScroll Bar' gets larger and larger or smaller and smaller.
Could be a prob with GoogleChrome

    ...vmars
