What R D Steps To Uninstall Itunes 7? on MAC

I'm new to this website. I just found it this morning and have been reading for 2 hours now.

Most of the uninstall advice has been for a PC. I have a Mac.

Can some computer wizard please tell me the steps to uninstall this poopy Itunes 7 from my MAC? In baby English?

I've tried to install Itunes 6.0.5 and it says it can't cuz of a newer version.

I've already copied my itunes folder to my external (backup) hard drive for safe keeping. Was that the correct thing to do first?

I just lost my old Ipod and had to buy a new one and my MAC says it's corrupted. I could tell by reading the threads that Ipod doesn't work well with Itunes 7.

Will send $5 Starbucks card to whoever can tell me step by step what to do till it works. I PROMISE!!!!!
