    Smile Request for old software

    Hello, Ladies/Gentlemen.

I hope very much to find and download to my computer:

    Software Website: Microsoft
    Software Name: CD Player
    Software Version: 5.1
    Size: 156 KB

This software will play CD tracks in the order I want to play them - no downloading, no nothing, just a nice option to clear the tracks and put them back in in the order I want. If you cannot find 5.1, mayb you know of an alternative??

    Many thanks!

    Ariel

    Hello.
Thank you for your reply, but I think I have given all the information that I have about the software. It could be so old that younger people have never seen it before, but I have it at work, and I love it.

Exactly what it is, and what it is not:

    1) It is software that plays a physical compact disc (4 3/4 in.) that I insert into the CPU.

    2) After the tray closes, it does not automatically conntect me to the internet; but, if I remember correctly, it offers to try to find this disc on the internet, but I never choose this option.

    3) Once the computer has "read" the disc, one may go to the options, clear the play list, and put it back in any order one likes; (or one can choose random order -- not what I want).

    4) The music on the disc is not downloaded into the CPU.

    5) However, the CPU remembers the exact timings (I think) of each disc, and therefore remembers my preferred track order when the same disc is inserted again. Therefore I do not need to reset the play order each time I play the disc.

Thank you for any help you can give.

    Ariel
