Why do you want the older version? I was about to down load the new version but remembered someone saying the old version is better.But wich one and why.I currently have no version on a new to me but older laptop.

If you run older windows operating system, older is of course better because it uses up less resources.

Please be careful about older versions of Limewire. Version 2.0.2 had a trojan in it. The Limewire developers thought it was normal adware they were bundling but instead it was really bad malware. There was a lot of publicity about it when it happened.

If I was you I wouldn't use the older version of limewire. Instead use something like eMule which supports older operating systems.
