i am looking for older version of Google Earth.

Current version 3.0

need version: 1.0 or 2.0

I can't use this link. Could you provide another ? If you don't/can't have earlier versions ... 3.0 is fine for me.

BTW, I've found the GE ver3.0.0762, but every time I open it require me to update to GE ver5.0 or exit . I think all 3.0 vers are the same now, update or quit. Damn the gg

try this steps
1. Start --> Run --> Services.msc and set GoogleUpdate to Disabled
2. Start --> Run --> MSCONFIG and disable "GoogleUpdate" under Startup

I can't find GoogleUpdate by both ways. It looks like this GE ver3.0.0762 does not update or contact with GG server. How did it detect my ver ?
I even disconnected my network but no help.



I supposed free edition of all versions are built-in (all data in dir folder) so they do not have to connect to GE server.
Will earlier versions ( 1.0 or 2.0 ) be the same ?

the reason that you cnat use the ftp site is that it runs under anonymous user and tries to grab you r email addy out of OUtlloook for the task and you dont us eit so it cant find the info to run the sserver data to complete the logon

yes slave I have google earth v 1.0 and if ya open it up and go to the tools section you can turn off auto updater
send me a message at Tpneer2@gmail.com and I will reply witht eh program thru you sendit.com with my name attached so you know who its from
