    Unhappy Errors with Current iTunes/QuickTime

I have a new 30 GB iPod with video. Everytime I try to install the iTunes/QuickTime software I get error message 46: Could not load or find the QuickTime Active X Control. Someone suggested I install an earlier version of the iPod and iTunes software. Can anyone suggest what version may work? I've spent many days working on this and would appreciate any help!

    hey there!

We will be glad to help you out...

After searching for the error massages on Apple's website. I found this solution that might help you

okay... i just got this stuff figured out... first... try installing the new itunes and if you already have dont delete anything from the itunes folder... go to this website and download the standalone qt http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html after its about to finish downloading, then an error message may pop up... ignore it and keep pressing yes... when u get this error message, it meens that it has deleted EVERYTHING that had to do with quicktime before. now go back to the website and download it again... it should work
