Default Pro Tools Free os9 v5.xx

I have been searching for a copy of Pro Tools Free version 5 and up.
    It's a Mac Classic app.
As it's no longer available for download from Digidesign, it's been driving me nuts.
    Can anyone assist?

nope, Digidesign took Pro Tools Free off their website a while back.
    That's why I am looking.
All the stuff left on Digidesign website is for specific hardware.

If anyone has Pro Tools Free v 5.01 for mac or any PT v 5 mac software, that's what I am after.

    Are you still looking?

I've got it on a disc somewhere around here..

I should point out that there is a ProTools Free 3.4 for os9 that is pretty easy to find.. It supports a few extra audio tracks, but the trade off is that it doesn't come with any plugins.. I ended up using the 3.4..

But I could put the 5.x up on rapid share or something if you are still looking.

Apparently I lied, I can't find it anywhere. But it was only a few months ago that I found it on the net, so it IS out there. Don't give up.

I downloaded it! Here's the link:

    Products

What you do is you either register first with digidesign and login, then go to the link or go to the link, register/login, and then you are taken to a page where it says "the information is no longer available" or something to that but a file is ready to be downloaded. It's ProTools Free!

If it doesn't work, let me know! Good luck!

This site requires you to register first. It is a good site though.
We help not because we need to but we help because we want to.........there's a big difference between "need" and "want"
