I think wht I did was go to Create a new journal- you won't lose yours- and it gave me a chance to put in a new password.

Not sure if anyone is following this thread or not but I thought I'd post some comments that might be helpful.
I finally went to install DJ 3.0 on my Windows 7 64 bit machine after not using DJ for a while. That is when I found it was not compatible.
If you have Windows 7 Professional, Business or Ultimate you can run a virtualized Windows XP that will run DJ. Just Google it for instructions. You also have to have a virtualization chip on your mother board and have it turned on but most computers built the last few years meet that requirement.
My DJ runs fine now.
