Two DLL files needed badly!

Tonight I clicked to update my YIM and when doing so, two files were lost. The update did not work and I could not sign back into YIM. I removed yim from my computer, restarted and went to reinstall. I have to use an older version because yes I'm still using the dinosaur of Win98. Anyway, reinstalling does not work and I tried all the versions compatible with my OS. I keep getting an error saying that two files were not found. The file names are:

A required. DLL file, MSVCR80.DLL, was not found
A required. DLL file, MSVCP80.DLL, was not found.

Does anyone have these files they could copy and email me? How do I get these files??

Please help me as I use YIM for everything! Thank you!

good deal roipatrcik gotthe right url for the files but I am wondering why the required dll files werre not inthe installer, you might be using a version older than 6.0 to make things work but the dll fies should still be inside the installer, it could also be that the file extraction tool you are usnignmisse dthese 2 files, might want to check to see what verison of installer program youahve onthat machine, you cna always use an old verion of pkzip and the latest msi installer you could possibly use is 1.2
also after getting the files form the listed url put them on a floppy so you will have them

You just dont need to download and place DLL files in your system/pc. It may give you errors in terms of version or applications that uses it. My recommendation for you it to use any available Registry Scanner Software that would show you and fix the problems you encountered.

It's just a fixing tool for extension files. You're right Tpneer2 the file is not included. I advice you to give me your email add to personally email the file you need. I may be able to send it to you if you want.
