    Default MSN messenger

    has anyone got a very early version of MSN messenger for mac? Cheers.

    or any program really that allows communication with msn. Just needs to work on an old mac, cheers.

    Looked around in this results. you will be able to find some older versions. http://search.microsoft.com/results....senger+for+mac

    If you are looking for any perticuler version of msn let me know I will find it for you.

    thanx a lot for your help guys, I had already looked in the first link and even the oldest version there was too old. I would be happy with any version that works on Mac OS 8, cheers.

    You can also try to use Mercury Messenger, Adium, Proteus, and aMSN. They offer many greate features like running AIM, MSN, and Yahoo Messenger running all in one.

    thanx for your help, but I couldn't find old enough versions of these apps either.

    If you are running Mac OS 9.2.2 You can try MSN Messenger 2.5.1 available here

    If that doesn't work please try here: http://macmessenger.sourceforge.net/ (For Mac 8/9 Classic OS and OS X)

    And if none of the above work let me know I will try again to help you out!
