Mac OS X 10.2 RETAIL CD version I own an old iBook G3 800mhz and do not have the install discs that came with the system. I need to reinstall the complete OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) to get my system to come up.
The iBook G3 is a laptop that Apple made so many different models of, you need to have the OEM discs that came with your laptop to re-install the correct drivers, etc...I have heard from several Apple techs that Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) RETAIL version will install on an iBook G3 800mhz.
Because the system does not have a DVD drive, I need the CD version. Again, the FULL RETAIL version - the 10.2.2 update will NOT install. The FULL RETAIL version willl be a bootable CD (I believe it is a total of 2 CDs, there may be 3 CDs, not sure about that).
Any help???
