Exclamation WANTED : Buttons For DOS software (version irrelevant)

    Folks,

I am hunting an ANCIENT piece of software named BUTTONS FOR DOS. It was shareware (with a $35 registration fee) from Rockland Software Productions of Clinton, MD many, many moons ago back when Windows 3.1x was the OS of the day. It basically removed the need for typing DOS command lines to access your DOS programs! What a novel concept, huh?!? Anyway...

The ONLY place on the web I have been able to find a reference to this software is at the following URL :

Smart Computing Article - Start Your DOS Programs With Buttons

That is all I can tell you about this software. Please contact me at JohnnyReb69@comcast.net if you can help me locate a copy of this software.

    Thanx.

Do you know what was the web site for this company? May be that can lead us in the right direction.

After all this time, I am still hunting this software.

Sorry, I do not know what company produced it or even if they had a web site.

The only copy I have ever had of "Buttons For DOS" came from a system restore disk for a friend's ACER computer (model unknown). But I have just today found out that this software was also offered on the system restore CDs for Compaq computers... specifically, the Presario 9548 as seen by clicking HERE. Just a little past half way down the page in the center column is a section called "Software Features"... Buttons For DOS is listed in that section.

Now, if only I could find one of those restore discs...
