Skype 2.0.0.72-1 deb for linux ubuntu 8.04

Hi all, just joined Old Apps, I'm looking for an old skype version 2.0.0.72-1 for Ubuntu Hardy. I've found a lot of skype downloads for windows under the skype heading but have not been able to locate the linux deb versions on the site. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, DocLenny.

Thanks so much for Your help with this. I really messed up when I tried to upgrade to Lucid. This computer did not like ubuntu 10.4 and would not display drop down menus. I had not back up hardy when I upgraded so lost this version of skype, Thanks again

If you are having troubles upgrading to the newest version of Ubuntu (a common problem we hear quite often), try Linux Mint instead.

Mint is based on Ubuntu, but with more media support software preloaded.

Support for Ubuntu 8.04 ends in May 2011. The newest version of Ubuntu 11.04 will be released on April 28th.
