    Default Boot Camp sad...

I have yet to update my current operating system (osx 10.4.11) but until I do - I need to get an old version of Boot Camp or Crossover or something! I need to open an .exe file yesterday, but don't currently have the capability.

Mac generally disables older versions of its software, making download, or even finding it, a bit of a chore.

I would gladly accept Boot Bamp 1.2 or 1.3. If there are older versions of Crossover, that would be great too.

    Thankyou!

Have you tried using Virtualbox with your Mac? That should be able to open .exe files in a virtual environment. It can also run parallel with your Mac.

    Unhappy Re: Boot Camp sad...

Yeah, I found that app... But it's telling me a command I've seen in other "issues" forums:

"Unsupported hardware architecture detected! The installer has detected an unsupported architecture. VirtualBox runs on the x86 architecture only."

Please enlighten me... I think at this point I should also admit that I have no idea what my mac's "architecture" is. I have Mac OSX 10.4.11 and VirtualBox should run.

    Still sad.
