The beta verison was freeware and one verison of 2.0 was free given away to AOL members or with D-link router.

This software sets up your home network with almost know work. Just install it and let it find your router, internet access, and all computers wire or wireless. It does the work. The new version 3.0 and 4.0 is limited in the freeware

Usually u are able to download it from here: http://ftp.aol.com/purenetworks/

But it looks like aol has set up some restriction on the file.

AOL had it here but they have changed the way they run, so now it is not given away. I would still be the free version if anyone still has the program.
