2.1 Where can I download Windows Media Connect?

Because Windows Media Connect technology has been improved and incorporated into Windows Media Player 11, the standalone version of Windows Media Connect is no longer available for download.

The media sharing feature in Windows Media Player 11 lets you stream music, pictures, and video from your computer to devices that are connected to your wired or wireless home network. If you already have Windows Media Connect 1.0 or 2.0 installed on your computer, it will automatically be upgraded when you install Windows Media Player 11.

OK, so Media Connect is now incorporated into media player 11. But media player 11 will not install on Media Center XP computers unless they are running XP MCE 2005. I'm running XP MCE 2002, and Microsoft charges > $100 to upgrade from 2002 to 2005. So I will need the old app Media Connect in order to use my Roku Soundbridge M1001.

So the original question stands. Where can one acquire the Media Connect application?
