Before finding out about oldapps.com, I downloaded and used AnyDVD on a free trial. I have uninstalled the trial version and downloaded the old version from this website. However, I continue to get the error message "Your trial period has expired".
Anyway I can fix this problem? Is there a way to find the file that is keeping track of that old trial?
Thanks,
Jason
First it was the current version. I uninstalled that version and the Old Apps version. Now I'm getting the same message but from the Old Apps Version.
He ment which one of this versions:
AnyDVD 6.1.3.3 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 6.1.1.3 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 6.0.8.0 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 6.0.6.3 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 6.0.5.1 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 6.0.1.1 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 6.0.0.4 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 5.9.6.1 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 5.9.5.7 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 5.9.5.2 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 5.9.4.1 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 5.9.2.1 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 5.9.1.1 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 5.8.4.1 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 5.8.3.1 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 5.5.1.1 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 5.4.1.1 (1 MB)
AnyDVD 4.0.4.1 (1012 KB)
AnyDVD 3.8.1.3 (963 KB)
Currently, vs 6.1.3.3 is giving the error. Previously, it was the new version I had downloaded from SlySoft.

Because you installed newer version first, the registries on your computer were already written for 30 day trial period so now you will not be able to run trial period.
I recommend buying the software
In my experience ... I go to regedit to delete all previous versions (AFTER YOU DELETE IT FROM THE PROGRAMS & FEATURES) just be very careful doing that cuz if you accidently delete the wrong things you can crash your computer (I've done that a few times).. you just search for ANYDVD and delete the ones that the computer finds and highlights... then it will tell you it's finished searching through the registry and I always do an extra once over and then search for SLYSOFT.. then I restart my computer (just for good measure...lol) then I down load the next version).. I have to say though that does not always work if you miss one or something ok.. just a little insight but be VERY careful not to delete anything that isn't what you are looking for directly cuz it can have a bad affect to your computer!!
re-install the anydvd trial version then uninstall it using any good uninstaller program. i recommend "Your Uninstaller" but it's not free... if you want free but reliable use revo uninstaller.
using an uninstaller tool will remove any leftovers of your software including registry entries.
What happens when an unstoppable force meets an unmovable object?
I also agree with 'thetigeress73' and 'slavezero'.Both the method will remove all reference of AnyDVD from the registry. Actually, when you install the old version, the references already written in the registry (due to the expired trial version) interpret this as trial version and according to the date of your system, it's already expired. Try this......
1. Uninstall all versions of AnyDVD.
2. Start > Run > Regedit.
3. Press F3
4. Type SlySoft and press ENTER.
This will search all the registry for the value 'SlySoft'.
5. Delete each of them after carefully reviewing them.
6. Follow the same method for keyword 'AnyDVD'.
7. Restart the computer and try to install the old version of AnyDVD once again.
Best of Luck
WARNING: YOU NEED TO HAVE SOME EXPERIENCES FIRST ON REGISTRY EDITING.
I recommend buying the software
