Itunes error messages with new software..

I have a 30G Ipod Video. It has been giving me several problems since putting the last few updates in. With 7.4.2 it was working fine. I updated to 7.4.3 today and added a couple songs, when it went to sync it said error-69 (unknown error) after loading about 1500 songs and then the Ipod was erased.

Can anybody help?

forgot to mention I already tried putting 7.4.2 back on and same thing and I'm using XP

Were you able to install the older version back on?
