I have installed yahoo messenger beta9, only because I was having problems with 8.1. I couldn't see who was entering or leaving the rooms and what anyone was typing but I could see who was in the room and use voice. With beta 9 all I can do is enter a room and nothing else. No voice, can't see who enters or leave. still can't see what others are typing and now I can't send any messages in the room. I have been to this site previously when I had problems with voice chat and followed a link which took me to a site to download I think it is called codec, which did solve the problem for a while. My os is windows vista. Can anyone help please???

First thing you might want to do is download ac3filter. (Its a codec for audio). Though, I think thats not the problem.

If that does not work then uninstall yahoo messenger beta version 9. Then go to www.oldapps.com and download and install older version of yahoo messenger that should solve the problem.
