Could not load OpenGL

I had to reinstall my windows xp due to a virus. now when i try to open a game it says "Could not load Open GL. Make sure latest drivers for video card are installed. I've went and installed every driver possible for my video card, but it doesn't help.

Any help out there?

Check to see if there are any newer drivers available for that graphics card.
Other than that you'd have to try running in software rendering with the r_allowSoftwareGL "1" command in your config file.
Probably be far better off getting a new graphics card though.

Another thing you might look into is making sure that you have an up to date DirectX

try formatting your hard drive and makeing opengl your defult gaprfate card or try reinstalling windows

what exactly is the game you are playing? does the game worked before you re-install XP? if not, did you check to make sure you have a supported 3D video card to play the game? have you also tried downloading the latest driver for your card?... sorry if I also answer your questions, questions also ... we just need some extra details to effectively help you
