    Unhappy My computer does not sense my ipod what might be wrong with it ?

    My friend sold me an ipod my computer only senses it like once every like 2 billion times i connect it and when it senses it an itunes message comes up that says my ipod is corrupted how can i fix this ?

    i do not know it says 2004 on the back

    Hi deathhammy520, I believed you're using a 4th generation ipod. Try downloading itunes ver. 4.6 it's available here at oldapps.

    There are different ways on how to fix a corrupted ipod.

    Restore mode - Try holding the Menu + the center button until the logo appears. Then switch by holding Center + Play buttons
    until it displays "Ok to connect". Try formatting it or restore to default settings.
